Welcome to our blog!

Our group is just a few days away from boarding the plane and making our way to the Holy Land. We leave Monday, February 2 and arrive in Tel Aviv the morning of February 3. Stay tuned for daily updates of where we will be traveling and what we will be seeing. Jim's prayer is that our trip will be a pilgrimage which signifies a journey with purpose and meaning, often to a sacred place.

The most common metaphor of the Christian faith is the invitation to walk where Jesus walked or "come follow me." To have the opportunity to actually walk where Jesus walked and see what He saw when teaching and healing is a gift. May we all prepare our hearts and minds for what lies ahead!

  1. Best of Luck in your travels! My advice is to pray often and after you visit a historic place go to the bible and read about it. It will make it more alive for you!

The secret of a good sermon is to have a good beginning and a good ending; and to have the two as close together as possible. -- George Burns
